Manchester United are one of the many teams that are looking closely into the transfer market to add some quality players to their squad.

The new manager Jose Mourinho has been a busy man since donning the Red Devils jersey and has added some top class players to his squad this summer.

But the manager is still looking for top class stars to replace first team players and also for fringe players who can provide depth to the squad to help them cope with the Europa league and the other domestic competitions.

One such player who might be moving to United in the coming days is Turkish midfielder Oguzhan Ozyakup.

The 23-year old was a part of the Arsenal academy a few years ago but was not able to breakthrough into the first team under Arsene Wenger.

He moved away from England without making a single appearance for the Gunners but went on to establish himself as a decent midfielder in the Super Lig side Besiktas.

Having already established himself in Italy, the 23-year old has also been an important part of the Turkey side and has already bagged 23 caps for his country.

He has learnt a lot in his time at Arsenal and got even better after his move to Turkey and his exploits in the previous domestic season has now seen the likes of Arsenal, Manchester United and Valencia scout for him this summer.

But it is now understood that Jose Mourinho has stepped up his pursuit of the midfielder and is ready to make a £20m bid for the midfielder according to Lig TV.

It is also revealed that Jose Mourinho has spoken to Slaven Bilic, the former Besiktas coach for insights on the midfielder and the Mourinho has decided to make a move for the 23-year old this summer.

He is also in good form scoring 8 goals and picking up 10 assists in 41 appearances across all competition last season in Turkey and is one of the inform midfielders in Europe at the moment.

Though his numbers are in a relatively less competitive domestic league, he has already been a part of the Gunners squad a couple of years ago and he has enough experience in England to not waste too much time in settling into it.

In his 4 years away from the Premier League, Ozyakup has gathered loads of experience and has also improved as a player and though he may not have proven himself at Manchester United quality, he is a decent player with loads of potential that Mourinho is ready to take a risk for.

He is rated at €20 million and his performances for the club and country recently justify his price tag. However, it is to be seen if an official word is out on this move in the coming days.
