Manchester United are set to end their pre-season tour of the United States against a game against French Giants Paris st-Germain. United have been fine form in recent weeks having beaten Club America, San Jose Earthquakes and Barcelona.
Louis Van Gaal will be looking to end the pre-season on a good note with a victory against PSG, a team which has been after his star man Angel Di Maria. Ahead of the game, we take a look in to the predicted Manchester United starting XI vs PSG.
Predicted Manchester United starting XI vs PSG:
This perhaps would be the starting XI for Manchester United once the new season begins. It looks like more of a 4-4-1-1 formation where Memphis Depay will be given the free role in-behind Wayne Rooney.
Midfield will be held firmly by the presence of Michael Carrick and Morgan Schneiderlin. Juan Mata and Ashley Young will give United the width and creativity.
Red Devils have looked assured in defense barring the opening 20-minute spell against Barcelona. Phil Jones and Chris Smalling are growing increasingly aware about playing with each other. Matteo Darmian and Luke Shaw have looked menacing going forward and assured while defending.
Van Gaal would ring his customary changes at the hour mark and then we can expect the likes of Marouane Fellaini, Ander Herrera and Bastian Schweinsteiger take to the field along with the young stars Jesse Lingard, Adnan Januzaj and Andreas Pereira.
