After a round of fixtures that were not so kind for the teams at the top of the table, the Premier League is back in action this weekend and with just 33 points to play, every point and every goal is as important as the other.
However seeing the unpredictable nature of the league this season, we have presented you with the predictions of all the results from the beginning of the season and we will continue to till the end of the season. Here are the predictions for the 29th round of fixtures:
- Tottenham Hotspur vs Arsenal:
The north London derby with the title honors attached to it is set to entertain the world of football this weekend. The Spurs will start the game as slight favorites playing at White Hart Lane but there is hardly anything to separate the two teams.
Our Prediction: Tottenham Hotspur 1-2 Arsenal
- Manchester City vs Aston Villa:
City after losing to Liverpool in the mid-week will be expected to come back to winning ways when they welcome Aston Villa to the Etihad this weekend. It should be a relatively easy fixture against a struggling Villa side.
Our Prediction: Manchester City 4-1 Aston Villa
- Newcastle United vs AFC Bournemouth:
After a 2-0 victory over Southampton, the Cherries will be hoping to take all three points from the game against Newcastle this weekend. However, this game could be a close contest between two sides trying to find some consistency.
Our Prediction: Newcastle United 2-2 AFC Bournemouth
- Swansea City vs Norwich City:
The Irish outfit were confident in their victory at the Emirates in the mid-week and will be expected to do the same against the Canaries at the Liberty stadium this weekend. Though it won’t be easy, the Swans are expected to win this game.
Our Prediction: Swansea City 2-0 Norwich City
- Chelsea vs Stoke City:
Chelsea are on a superb domestic run and are unbeaten in the last 11 league games. They welcome the Potters this weekend and will be expected to take all three points in-spite of the good start Stoke had to this season.
Our Prediction: Chelsea 3-1 Stoke City
- Southampton vs Sunderland:
The Saints lost to the Cherries in the mid-week but will be hoping to bounce back and get a victory against Sunderland who are discomfortingly close to the drop zone. It will not be easy for the home side to take all three points from this game given the resilience shown by the Black Cats recently.
Our Prediction: Southampton 1-1 Sunderland
- Everton vs West Ham United:
Two clubs which are evenly matched take on each other at the Goodison Park this weekend. It is a cracker of a match which is almost impossible to call but playing at home, Everton will start as slight favorites to get a result from this game.
Our Prediction: Everton 0-0 West Ham
- Watford vs Leicester City:
The league leaders dropped points in the mid-week against the Baggies and they will face a similarly tough fixture against Sanchez Flores’ side this weekend. Watford have been strong in recent times and will not be easy to beat for the Foxes on the night at home.
Our Prediction: Watford 3-3 Leicester City
- Crystal Palace vs Liverpool:
The Reds have had a torrid time against Palace in recent outings and will not be completely confident going into this trip to Selhurst Park. Palace have enough quality to shock Liverpool and with the nature of season in mind, Liverpool will most probably get nothing from this game.
Our Prediction: Crystal Palace 3-0 Liverpool
- West Bromwich Albion vs Manchester United:
The Baggies held Leicester City to a draw in the mid-week and will be hoping for a similar result against the Red Devils in the weekend. However, United are on a 5 match winning streak and will be favorites to take all three points from this game.
Our Prediction: WBA 1-2 Manchester United
