Breaking Rudd Van Nistelrooy’s record of scoring in 11 games consistently, Jamie Vardy has retained the title of the Player of the Month for November.

Leicester City are the Kings of England this season, sitting at the top with 32 points from 15 games and leading them from the front has been their star player Jamie Vardy. Vardy has scored 14 goals in 15 games and has scored or assisted in all the games that he has featured in. And it was ironically in the match against the Red Devils that Vardy broke Rudd Van Nistelrooy’s record by scoring 11 games straight.

Vardy has been exceptional for Leicester City and it is the antics of this 28 year old that have been behind the miraculous run of the club. Vardy’s story is a tale of ‘from rags to riches’. He made his name in a non-league and after he was picked by the Foxes his graph has been ever rising. His goal scoring abilities earned him an international cap in June and the way this player is rising to new heights he will soon be picked up by big teams as Alex Ferguson rightly pointed out.

Vardy picked up the accolade beating Ross Barkley (Everton), Romelu Lukaku (Everton), Harry Kane (Tottenham), Dejan Lovren (Liverpool), and Troy Deeney (Watford). And the frontman wasn’t the only one who picked up an award for his performance in November, his boss also picked up the award for the manager of the month. For his magic with Leicester, Claudio Raneiri has been adjudged the EPL manager of the month for the last month.

Leicester City was up against Chelsea next and when the Blues come to the Kings Power Stadium, the duo of Vardy and Raneiri will be ready to make things worse for the Blues. It will be something to see how Raneiri tackles a team that propelled itself into the round of 16 of the Champions League, and also how Mourinho answers the team that has been winning against all odds.
