According to reports in Italy, Inter Milan are set to rival Juventus to sign Chelsea winger Juan Cuadrado and are willing to pay £21m.
Last week Italian media outlet Tuttosport had reported that the deal between the winger and Juventus have stalled and Calciomercato claim that Inter Milan are keen to capitalize on the situation as they want to sign the player on a permanent deal.
The 28-year old who have moved to Stamford Bridge in January 2015 had a below par second half with the Blues and was sent on loan to Juventus last season. He has been good with the Serie A giants in a league where he had excelled in the past.
However, there is a lot of skepticism over his ability to hit his form in Premier League. But the new manager Conte is happy with the player’s recent outing in pre-season friendly against Real Madrid where the Blues lost 3-2.
The Colombian international has made 40 appearances for Juventus last season as he scored five goals and provided eight assists. Cuadrado is reportedly keen to move back to Serie A on a permanent deal as he is highly unsettled at Stamford Bridge despite the arrival of Antonio Conte.
He was left out of the squad in their opening games of the season so far and Chelsea have an abundant of resources for the right winger role with the likes of Willian, Cuadrado, Pedro, and Victor Moses all capable of playing in that position.
However, Conte is reportedly not willing to let the player leave until he gets new enforcements for the winger.
