Latest reports suggest that Tottenham Hotspur are lining up a bid for Chelsea’s talented winger Mohamed Saleh. The winger is currently on loan at Serie A club Florentina and will return to Stamford bridge at the end of the season.
The winger has been impressive in Serie A as he managed to score 4 goals in the 11 league starts he managed at Florentina after he got loaned out mid-season in the winter transfer window this year.
The player was unable to break into the starting line up of Chelsea as he faced intense competition from the likes of Haazard, Willian and Schrrule early in the season. After he got loaned out to Florentina he looked a different player as he got plenty of playing time at the Serie A club.
The Spurs’ scouts that went scouting for Saleh are heavily impressed with the player’s technique and abilities and have reported Spurs to buy the young talent. Even after successful loan stinct, the chances of Saleh breaking into first team seems bleak.
A move to Spurs will provide a chance for the former Basel man to prove himself in Premier League and to answer the critics. However, Florentina have already started making move to make the deal permanent.
Mohamed Saleh have managed only three starts this season for Chelsea before getting loaned out to Florentina. Chelsea bought Saleh for £11m in January 2014.
