Daily Mirror reported on Monday about a training ground bust-up between Chelsea captain John Terry and striker Diego Costa amid the dismal start of the season from the Blues.
Picking up only four points from five games, this is the worst ever start of the Blues not only in Premier League era but also in the last 29 years. They are now sitting 17th in the Premier League table and it is the worst start ever for an English champion in 128 years.
Mirror reported that, due to the poor performance from the club, bursting out of tempers is a common thing at Stamford Bridge right now and the former English captain had a fight with Diego costa in the training ground.
Chelsea club sources, however, are saying that there was nothing between Terry and Costa, but manager Mourinho has banned any fun banter during training as Chelsea prepares for their Champions League clash with Maccabi Tel Aviv.
Tel Aviv boss Slavisa Jokanovic said Chelsea are mistaking if they think it will an easy match and considering Chelsea’s form, no match is easy for them.
“My interests are now with a different side and I will try to hurt them more and damage them at this moment,” Jokanovic told the Evening Standard.
“I am trying to push myself, I am concentrating on this game and looking to demonstrate what I can do for Maccabi.”
