With just three days remaining at the 2015 Wimbledon, we are into the crucial phase of the tournament. Its men’s semi-finals day at the Wimbledon and top 3 have made their place into the semis with Stanislas Wawrinka, the no 4 seed bowing out in 5 sets against 21st seeded Richard Gasquet in an epic clash. Here let’s take a look at what is in store for the fans from the SW19:

Order of play :

Semi-Finals 1 – Novak Djokovic vs Richard Gasquet :

Novak Djokovic booked his place in the semi-finals with a comfortable straight sets victory against Marin Cilic. The defending champion who is chasing his 3rd Wimbledon title will face the 21st seed Richard Gasquet in the semi-finals. Gasquet who involved in the epic encounter against Wawrinka has booked his place in the Semi-finals for the very first time in his career. However, Djokovic would prefer Gasquet over Wawrinka who shattered his dreams of winning the French Open recently. Djokovic would be the heavy favourite in the first semi-finals but with the form Gasquet is in he might spring in a surprise.

Semi-Finals 2 – Andy Murray vs Roger Federer:

This is the semi-final to look forward at the centre court with both the players are in solid form. Murray who is regarded as one of the favourite takes on Roger Federer who is chasing his 8th Wimbledon title. The last time when these two met in a Wimbledon it was Roger who emerged as a winner. However, the Brit would love to change thing this time around by coming out on top with the support of his home crowd. Roger has been effective with his serve and his net play and its been working for him throughout the tournament. Murray has comparatively different gameplay compared to Roger, by dictating play from the baseline. In short, its Baseline play vs Serve and volley play. Murray has the slightest edge over Roger in this clash and would go in as the favourite even though roger is seeded higher than him.

Mouth Watering semi-final clash awaits us and one could certainly not miss any of those.
