This is not good news at all for WWE, especially with the roster filled with injuries and WWE has no choice but to give the WWE championship belt to none other than Triple H with no options left.
John Cena, the franchise, the face of the WWE will be a spectator at the spectacular event called Wrestlemania. After nearly over a decade Cena is all set to miss the biggest extravaganza in the world of sports entertainment. According to the news from allwrestlingnews.com Cena was present at the Wrestlemania 33 press conference held in Orlando, Florida and admitted “For the first time in a decade in a half, this year I will be watching WrestleMania. WrestleMania means the world to me.”
The fifteen-time WWE world heavyweight champion Cena debuted back in 2002 and performed at the showcase of immortals since Wrestlemania’s twentieth edition and main event 8 times in between. Wrestlemania 32 was booked to see the match between the Undertaker and him i.e. we were scheduled to witness a match between two legends and which were rumored to be the curtain call for the Phenome in his home state.
But, then all of a sudden Cena suffered a shoulder injury which requires six to nine months of rehabilitation threw water on the plans. Though, with his cryptic tweets, each week was supposed to be a planning of a goose-bumping return considering his nag of premature recoveries. Earlier this week too, he tweeted expecting “huge news” which was expected to be his return to “defy science”.
But, the news came in the other way as a huge shocker when he announced his absence at Wrestlemania. Because everyone was expecting a blockbuster return was waiting for him under the carpet.
