Even the persons that are not a Roman Reigns fan was undoubtedly sure of his victory at Survivor Series and start of the Roman Empire from this past Sunday, but WWE Creative plans had changed at the last moment and they decided to go with Sheamus to cash in his Money in the Bank and ruin the original plans momentarily, at least for now.
The change of plans apparently happened at noon on the day of the pay-per-view itself and WWE is supposed to keep Sheamus with the title as of now. Though, Reigns is going to get back the title sooner or later sometimes. The celebration prior to Sheamus’ cash in was just to point out that and to see the reaction among the fans after Reigns’ victory and a major proportion of the crowd was booing the Samoan Superstar as they use to do the same thing TV tapings and live events.
Apparently this fan reaction is the main reason why reigns are not able to put his hands on the title and it is going on and on for a long time now. So, WWE has nothing to do but to create sympathy for him and establish him as the undisputed cornerstone of the company which will take some time.
In the process of making him the flag bearer of the company reigns will eventually end up facing the Cerebral Assassin and COO Triple H at Wrestlemania 32 which is the most viable option and that process had already started with spear delivered by Reigns. It seems that WWE is trying to replicate the same story of Daniel Bryan two years ago. In his case, the feud against Triple h worked as a wonder but is it going to the same direction in this case? Only time will tell, but The game and The Big Dog at the grandest stage of Dallas is the most viable option, as transpired in Survivor Series.
