WWE fans were taken aback after not seeing Bray Wyatt in action against Brock Lesnar after being advertised at WWE Roadblock and the match being the second main event of the night. Wyatt vs. Lesnar was supposed to be a mouth-watering action for the fans and despite the match being turned into a two-on-one handicap match, Wyatt remained a spectator outside the ring and watched Luke Harper taken to the Suplex City.
The possible reason for the same was revealed by the wrestling veteran journalist Dave Meltzer on the Wrestling Observer Radio. WWE have plans for a full forced Wyatt vs. Lesnar feud post-Wrestlemania and so they did not intend to book the eater of the world fully against the Beast Incarnate. That’s why the Network special and the live event at Montreal did not see Wyatt coming into the ring with Lesnar.
WWE’s original plan was chalked with Luke Harper going against the Beast one-on-one in the events but advertised it as a Wyatt vs. Lesnar just create the hype. In another impromptu decision WWE nixed the plan as a two-on-one handicap match to make Lesnar looking even stronger and as an intriguing decision let Bray standing alone by the side of the ring.
Both the matches i.e. Lesnar vs. Harper and Lesnar vs. Wyatt did not feature on the cards as advertised which turned out to be quite awkward. If things go as per the WWE Creative, then Bray will resume his half-told story once Wrestlemania is done. Not only Bray will be involved in the storyline, but also the black sheep Braun Strowman is about to get a huge push afterwards.
