WWE has got another reason for a headache on the auspicious occasions of WWE Draft and in a time when the biggest PPV of the summer is just around the corner. If going by the rumors then WWE may very well have to go all the way to Summerslam without the biggest attraction of the event, Brock Lesnar.
It was previously reported that as per the rules of MMA fights, Brock Lesnar had to undergo a drug test through the United States Anti-Doping Agency and the reports look to be potentially negative. WWE addressed the situation by posting a statement which declared the same and thereby fuelling the rumor further of Lesnar getting suspended.
The veteran journalist of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer spoke out some facts which are worrying for WWE. He told that Lesnar was found having an out-of-competition sample dated June 29th as tested by USADA. If any suspension notice gets declared by the Nevada State Athletic Commission then it will bar him from appearing only in the MMA fights. If one state agrees to charge penalty from the beast, other states may very well tend to do this in future.
So, with that being said, is there some sort of uncertainty regarding Brock Lesnar’s Summerslam future? Meltzer stated that if Nevada does punish Lesnar then New York State Athletic Commission may also put the ban on the beast which will prevent him from appearing in Summerslam. The pay-per-view is set to take place from Brooklyn, New York on August 21st.
Though MMA and the pro-wrestling industry are totally different but if the ban is put by the state athletic association it will applicable for any appearance. The good news is that he is not yet found negative by USADA and there’re plenty of chances for him to get a positive result. As of now, the situation is hanging in the balance.
