Since the moment, the trailer of the video game 2K17 featuring Goldberg was released on Raw the pro-wrestling fraternity stirred a bit with the possibility of a blockbuster return in WWE. They indeed want to see the gigantic spears but not from Roman Reigns, only. Who does not to see the franchise of the WCW’s heyday walking out to the ramp from backstage and the crowd roaring with “Goldberg, Goldberg” chants?
Now, as per the previous reports, Goldberg was contacted by the WWE for one last stint in the company. Recently, at an interview conducted by Goldberg was asked about the inevitable return topic and was asked to clear the fact if WWE contacted him ever for a dramatic return. To give an answer to the question, he replied that there were no efforts by WWE for a return to the company. He was only asked to appear and work for the 2K17 video game. He was neither considered for a Hall of Fame induction in the near future, which is sad news for the pro-wrestling fans, to say the least.

Though, the legend said that he is open for a return at this stage. He is set to keep all the differences aside and make some money for his family. He mentioned about the fight between Brock Lesnar and Mark Hunt. Earlier he predicted that Lesnar will kick some a**, for sure whereas Mark is a dangerous one, too. Also, if Lesnar vs. Goldberg rivalry can be renewed, it will be a spectacular one, as per his view.
Since Goldberg’s last match in WWE which took place at Wrestlemania 20, his return has been quite a topic for discussions. That last match was quite a major meltdown as both men’s presence was shattered by the presence of the special guest referee i.e. Stone Cold Steve Austin. Both, Brock Lesnar and Goldberg left the company after the night.
