WWE News: Major Hint That Ronda Rousey Might Be Heading To WWE

  • Ronda Rousey is being considered as one of the most iconic female athletes that this generation has ever seen. She once possessed an undefeated streak during her UFC stint much similar to The Undertaker. However, UFC fights are real in comparison to the WWE fights which are basically scripted. So, from that perspective, Ronda’s credentials are much higher.

So, there’s no wonder that Ronda Rousey fans were mourning over the devastating loss against Amanda Nunes at UFC 207. This was also supposedly her last bout inside the Octagon. Many of the critics and fans have said that she is over with her glorifying days and it’s better to move forward to have a career, elsewhere.

Now, since she has been a fan of the WWE since her childhood, most of the rumours suggested that the biggest pro-wrestling promotion in the world would be her next step. Speculations were running all over prior to this year’s Wrestlemania that she will be pitted against Charlotte for the Raw women’s championship.

However, that dream match never took place and we are still waiting to witness Ronda Rousey in a WWE ring, some day. Now an exciting news has been surfaced on the internet fueling up that inevitable speculation, again.

As per reports from the site Uproxx.com, Ronda Rousey might be WWE bound, this time. Her official Twitter account started to following major female names from the WWE female roster and the official handle of the WWE. This is the origin of the recent speculation.

The accounts that she’s been following recently are those of @WWEUniverse, @BellaTwins, @NaomiWWE, @NatByNature, and @TheAJMendez. Considering that these superstars were not in Rousey’s list, earlier and got inserted all of a sudden, the rumour might have some truth to it.

Besides, the Summerslam event is coming in August 2017. This is the second biggest PPV of the year set to take place in Brooklyn, New York. This year will mark the 30th anniversary of the event and it’s certain that WWE will try to bring a couple of mainstream star powers in order to garner the spotlight. So, we will be eagerly waiting to hear the official announcement of Ronda Rousey finally coming to WWE in due course.
