The show started as Jack Swagger along with Zeb Colter came out for the first contest of night. Footage from last week’s Monday Night Raw was shown where Rusev and Lana were disrespecting the United States of America just like they always did, Zeb Colter and Jack Swagger came in and Zeb Colter praised the American flag. They ended up with an unofficial fight between Swagger and Rusev where Rusev started to dominate Swagger but Swagger got the control with a sudden Patriot Lock. Rusev escaped the ring to evade the fight. Cesaro came in as the opponent of Jack Swagger of the night. I think it was a bad decision to make a one on one match between these two athletes. They were former tag team partners, and both are great wrestlers. They should have been provided a good feud between each other and their first fight should not have been taken place like this, but unfortunately, it had now been wasted with the poor example of script writing.

Match 1 – Jack Swagger defeated Cesaro by submission. That’s it? All the pushes that they were giving to Cesaro are now over? They turned him a jobber now? I think this submission victory of Jack Swagger over Cesaro was absolutely nonsense. Cesaro, the man who one thirty man Andre the Giant memorial battle Royal just four months ago, now lost via submission against a mid card wrestler? It was a terrible decision. About the match, it was average match, it was just made to look that Jack Swagger was a serious contender against Rusev at Summerslam. After the match, Rusev and Lana came out. Lana challenged Jack Swagger on behalf of Rusev in a Flag Match at Summerslam. Zeb Colter accepted the challenge on behalf of Jack Swagger.

Randy Orton came out to the arena next for the very first segment of the night. Orton grabbed a mic and said that last night on Monday Night Raw he was informed by Triple H that Brock Lesnar would be facing John Cena at Summerslam for the WWE World Heavyweight championship. He said that he had nothing against Brock Lesnar but he claimed that everybody knew that he deserved to be in that championship match. And the only reason he was not in that championship match was because of one Roman Reigns. One Roman Reigns stood in between his legitimate right to become the WWE World Heavyweight champion and as long as he was around, apparently he would not be getting what he richly deserved. SO he decided to took that upon himself last week on Monday Night Raw to send him a little message; a very clear and a very distinct message;

Footage from last week’s Monday Night Raw was shown where Roman Reigns was scheduled to face the Demon Kane in a one on one action. The week before Triple H scheduled to announce the no 1 contender for the WWE World Heavyweight champion of John Cena at Summerslam. When he named Randy Orton as the new no 1 contender and Orton was making way towards the ring, he was attacked by Roman Reigns, Reigns took him out of the arena through the crowd to send a very clear message that he would not let Orton to have any opportunity for the WWE World Heavyweight championship. Every time Orton would try his luck, Reigns would cost him his opportunity. Like I said, last week Roman Reigns was scheduled to face the Devil’s Favorite Demon Kane in a one on one match. Kane entered the arena first and as Roman Reigns was entering the ring through the crowd when he was attacked by the Legend Killer Randy Orton. Reigns tried to fight back but Kane nailed Reigns with a choke slam. Kane left the arena after the choke slam but Orton kept the assault going on. He continued the assault and beat him down really bad.

After the footage, Orton said that he dared Reigns for a one on one match at Summerslam. He said that the Viper would poison every single vain of Reigns and he would be hurt badly, just like he was hurt on last week’s Monday Night Raw and he wanted Roman Reigns to believe that.

Match 2 – R Truth defeated Bo Dallas by disqualification. Bo Dallas assaulted R Truth badly and he was not in the mood of a legal fight. Even after the bell, he kept the assault going on.

Match 3 – WWE Divas champion AJ Lee defeated Rosa Mendes by submission. AJ Lee quickly locked Rosa Mendes in the submission hold and made her submit. After the match, as AJ was going out of the arena, Paige attacked her near the entrance stage. Paige knocked out AJ with one single shot. As AJ was knocked out cold Paige sat near her and kept teasing her. She said that she still loved AJ and she was still her best friend.

Match 4 – Kane and Seth Rollins defeated Dean Ambrose by disqualification in a two on one handicap match. Dean Ambrose attacked Kane and Rollins with a steel chair. Kane tried to fight back but Dean beat him down. He could not get his hands on Rollins as he escaped.

Match 5 – Diego defeated Fandango. Layla and Summer Rae once again cost Fandango the match.

Match 6 – Alberto Del Rio defeated     Dolph Ziggler by submission. The Miz was in the commentary box who created distraction for Ziggler to cost him the match.

Main event – Chris Jericho defeated Eric Rowan. There was a stipulation, if Jericho won Eric Rowan would not be on Bray Wyatt’s corner at Summerslam. Jericho stood still in the ring and Bray Wyatt escaped slowly as the Friday Night Smackdown went off air.
