United States Champion Rusev vs. John Cena
Watch a war between worlds at WrestleMania XXXI, as United States Champion Rusev defends his title against challenger John Cena.
The first meeting between these two warriors took place in February at WWE Fastlane, where The Super Athlete, with the aid of Lana and a low blow, retained his U.S. Championship after Cena passed out in the Accolade.
In the following weeks, Cena demanded a rematch against The Hero of the Russian Federation, only for Rusev to repeatedly deny him the opportunity to go one-on-one. Following a heated exchange with Stephanie McMahon, in which she made clear Cena would only compete at WrestleMania if Rusev conceded to a rematch, it seemed as if, for the first time in 11 years, there would be no Cena at WrestleMania. That changed on the March 9 edition of Raw, though, when the Cenation leader left Lana little choice but to accept his challenge, forcing Rusev to pass out in the STF before Lana granted Cena his long-awaited rematch.
Rusev has been on a path of destruction since making his debut last year, picking up victories over the likes of former World Champions Jack Swagger, Mark Henry and Big Show. With The Ravishing Russian by his side, Rusev was able to conquer Sheamus to win the U.S. Title, his first championship in WWE. Now, after almost one year of not being pinned or made to submit, Rusev looks to cement himself as an unstoppable force with a victory over the 15-time World Champion.
Cena has had nothing short of a legendary 13-year career in WWE, not only becoming the WWE World Heavyweight Champion 12 times, but also winning the United States Championship, as well as several tag team championships, the Royal Rumble Match and the Money in the Bank Ladder Match. In his 12th appearance on The Showcase of the Immortals, Cena looks to put down The Bulgarian Brute and reclaim the U.S. Title after 10 years of not holding the star-spangled championship.
Can Rusev defeat Cena once again? Will Cena give Rusev his first decisive loss in WWE? And what role might Lana play in this epic clash?

AJ Lee & Paige vs. The Bella Twins
The voice of the Divas division could change radically at WrestleMania 31, when the popular, albeit unlikely, team of AJ Lee & Paige take aim at the top, battling Brie Bella and her fearless twin sister, Divas Champion Nikki Bella.
The match was made official for The Show of Shows on March 9, one week after AJ made her unannounced return from injury to rescue Paige from a two-on-one beatdown at the hands of Nikki & Brie. Paige had appeared to be on the verge of winning the Divas Title from the “fearless” champion until Brie ran interference, intentionally getting her sister disqualified while ensuring the title stayed in the Bellas’ possession.
Despite many previous altercations, “frenemies” AJ and Paige — who fought tooth and nail over the butterfly-emblazoned title in 2014 — look to be united by their common foes, Nikki & Brie, and the union could not be better timed for The Diva of Tomorrow.
The devilish twins spent weeks bullying Paige and using underhanded tactics to turn back her challenges for the title. The Divas division veterans also got the better of the WWE rookie as she struggled to find a tag team partner to support her. When it looked like Paige had no one left to turn to, the unlikeliest ally of all, AJ, reared her head and sent a vicious message to the always-boastful Bellas.
As the #GiveDivasAChance movement continues picking up steam, will AJ & Paige be successful in their effort to supplant the dangerous and sly Bella Twins, or will Nikki & Brie just further demonstrate why they are WWE’s most dominant Divas? Perhaps more importantly: Will the WWE Universe witness a paradigm shift in the Divas division at The Showcase of the Immortals?
Sportzwiki Prediction – The Bella Twins to win
Randy Orton vs. Seth Rollins
With both men fueled by bitterness and a mutual disdain for one another, Randy Orton and Seth Rollins prepare to do battle on The Grandest Stage of Them All.
The animosity dates back to November, when Orton was not only kicked out of The Authority, but also ambushed by Rollins, who drove The Viper’s head onto the steel steps with a vicious Curb Stomp. That attack cost Orton four months of his career, while Rollins continued to flourish, with Mr. Money in the Bank even challenging for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Royal Rumble. Orton sat at home biding his time, planning his retribution against those who had done him wrong.
At WWE Fastlane, Rollins’ worst fear came to fruition, as Orton returned to WWE, landing RKO after RKO on members of The Authority as The Architect fled the building. In the ensuing weeks, however, Orton — despite the skepticism of some Authority members — won the trust of Rollins, even aiding Mr. Money in the Bank in a victory over Roman Reigns. For a while, it seemed as if all was forgiven, and Orton was ready to pick up where he left off as a member of The Authority. Yet as Rollins would find out, you can never trust a snake.
On the March 9 edition of Raw, Orton’s true motives became known as he unleashed a brutal assault on Rollins, even driving him through the announce table with a thunderous RKO. The next week on Raw, Orton and Rollins’ WrestleMania showdown became official, though not until after Rollins attempted to play his own mind games against WWE’s Apex Predator.
Orton has racked up a string of legendary accomplishments since making his WWE debut nearly 13 years ago. At WrestleMania, Orton looks to decimate Rollins, showing no mercy for his past sins. Rollins has been called the “Future of WWE” since he joined The Authority last summer, and winning the Money in the Bank Ladder Match did nothing but fuel the belief that he is destined for greatness. Now, Rollins looks to finish what he started last fall, taking out the 12-time World Champion once and for all.
Will Orton’s thirst for payback be satisfied at WrestleMania? Will Rollins be able to de-venomize The Viper? And will the course of history change as the “Future of WWE” is determined?

WWE Tag Team Champions Tyson Kidd & Cesaro vs. The New Day vs. Los Matadores vs. The Usos (Fatal 4-Way)
Tyson Kidd & Cesaro’s WWE Tag Team Championship reign may be less than a month old — fact — but in a division packed with worthy contenders, the new champions must defend the titles against The New Day’s Big E & Kofi Kingston, Los Matadores and former two-time champions The Usos in a Fatal 4-Way on the WrestleMania Kickoff.
Sunday’s WrestleMania Kickoff is a special two-hour event that begins at 5 p.m. ET/2 p.m. PT, immediately before The Showcase of the Immortals goes on air. The first hour will be available on WWE Network, as well as stream live and for free on WWE.com, the WWE App, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Google+ and Pheed. The second hour of the Kickoff will be shown exclusively on WWE Network.
Since winning the tandem titles, Kidd & Cesaro have maintained that any team that believes they deserve a title opportunity at WrestleMania must first prove it. With all three duos making their championship ambitions crystal clear in recent weeks, Los Matadores, The New Day and The Usos set about backing up their demands.
Since then, the division has been marked by great parity and competition, with Diego & Fernando upending The Usos, and The New Day at one point scoring a non-title win over Cesaro & Kidd. The action has grown so intense that it even threatened to claim one Superstar when, during an Eight-Man Tag Team Match featuring all four tandems, The New Day’s Xavier Woods accidentally drilled Jey Uso with a dive, injuring Uso’s shoulder in the process. Luckily for the popular former champions, WWE’s medical staff has cleared Uso for competition, just in time for WrestleMania.
Sportzwiki Prediction – The Usos to become new champion
2nd Annual Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal (Kickoff Match)
The legacy of WWE Hall of Famer Andre the Giant will loom large at WrestleMania 31, as a legion of Superstars will enter Levi’s® Stadium with the goal of winning the 2nd Annual Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal as part of WrestleMania Kickoff.
The prestigious over-the-top-rope Battle Royal — a tribute to the iconic “Eighth Wonder of the World,” who was also known as “The King of the Battle Royal” — premiered at last year’s WrestleMania 30. There, 31 Superstars duked it out for the right to win a gigantic trophy created in Andre’s likeness. The wild brawl culminated when Cesaro unforgettably bodyslammed the 425-pound Big Show over the top and to the floor to become the inaugural victor.
So far, the following competitors have added their names to this year’s Andre the Giant Battle Royal lineup:
Which other Superstars will join the fray as the WWE Universe races down The Road to WrestleMania? And once the match field is final, which Superstar will find the strength and intestinal fortitude to outlast the pack of grapplers, brawlers and juggernauts on the Kickoff?
Sportzwiki Prediction – Damien Mizdow to win
