During his glorious career, he played a pivotal role in South Africa’s historic Test series win in Australia in 2008-09 where he had picked up 10 wickets and scored a fifty at MCG. However, his performance at Wanderers against Pakistan in 2013 was his best ever finishing with 11 wickets for just 60 runs.
However, the 36-year-old continues to be a nationally contracted player for the 2019/2020 season in white-ball cricket. Therefore, he remains available for the national team Proteas in both ODIs and T20Is.
