Out of bound India cricketer, Harbhajan Singh feels his counterpart Ravichandran Ashwin will key against England on day four of the third Test at Trent Bridge.
Meanwhile, India set up a target of 521 with two days in hand riding on Virat Kohli’s hundred. Kohli along with Cheteshwar Pujara added 113 runs to extend their lead over England. While Kohli was the aggressor, Pujara played the waiting game. He left balls outside the off stump to frustrate the English bowlers.
Although Pujara departed adding 72 runs, there was no stopping Virat Kohli. Kohli then partnered Ajinkya Rahane to bring the second century grandly. This is his fifth hundred against England and 23rd overall. Hardik Pandyafollowed his magical spell with a half-century to guide India to a target of 521 before declaring.
Alastair Cook and Keaton Jennings showed enough grit to keep the wickets intact at the end of the day’s play. The hosts now need 498 runs to win with ten wickets in hand.
