IPL 2019: 27th Match, Mumbai Indians vs Rajasthan Royals – Rajasthan Royals’ Predicted Playing XI; Yet another close contest, where Rajasthan ended up on the wrong side of things. They failed to make most of the opportunity during the game against Chennai Super Kings. Now, they are all set to take on Mumbai Indians at Wankhede Stadium.

Rajasthan Royals Predicted Playing XI:
The skipper Ajinkya Rahane failed to make his presence felt on the side as far as his batting is concerned. Apart from one good knock against Hyderabad, he hasn’t done anything better for the team. However, he would like to show his class against Mumbai Indians.
Jos Buttler has been fantastic for Rajasthan Royals in this season as well. Now, he is heading to Wankhede Stadium, the venue, which has always been lucky for him. In the previous meeting with Mumbai, he scored 94 runs to guide his side to victory.
Sanju Samson has been in excellent touch and scored a fine century. The young Kerala batsman missed out a couple of games due to a niggle. But, made a return to the side. He would like to repeat his class for the team.
So far, Steven Smith has displayed only one good knock for the team. However, he might be continued in the playing XI, as he got a good record against Mumbai Indians.
Ben Stokes was the main culprit behind the loss against Chennai Super Kings. He did extremely well to help his side in all sections of the game. But, when it came to 18 runs off 6 balls, Stokes failed to deliver goods for the team.
Rahul Tripathi has been decent enough in the season so far. He will look to make a similar kind of impact when he faces Mumbai. But, he is yet to produce a match-winning performance for the team.
Riyan Parag did well for the team. But, it is expected that Gowtham would take the role, as Mumbai got a lot of left-handed batsmen in their ranks. Otherwise, Riyan would get the nod.
Despite Rajasthan Royals struggling to find grip in the tournament, Jofra Archer has improved with all-around qualities. He has been brilliant for the team and would like to make the most of the opportunity in the game against Mumbai. In the previous game, he was a force to reckon with against CSK.
Shreyas Gopal has been brilliant for the team. He is doing the job for his side more often than not. Even in the crunch situations of the game, Gopal has been brilliant for the team. His runs with the bat are a bonus.
Dhawal Kulkarni has stepped up when it mattered the most. He started things pretty dominatingly for the team but the skipper didn’t keep his trust on him in the death overs.
Unadkat made a good return to the side with a decent spell in the powerplay overs. He finally delivered the required goods for the team and would like to make the most of the opportunity in the game against Mumbai.
Batting – 8/10
So far, it wasn’t that great from Rajasthan middle-order lineup. They are heavily based on the performances of the top 3. Hopefully, the middle-order will fire in this game. The form of Stokes with the bat is also a worry.
Bowling – 8.5/10
They got good support from Jaydev Unadkat and Kulkarni in the previous. The form of Archer and Shreyas Gopal is also a pleasing sight for the team. They would like to restrict Mumbai to a cheap score on the board.
