Former Australian cricketer Brad Hogg has opined that Jos Buttler is turning out to be the most reliable player in the Rajasthan Royals squad. Buttler scored an emphatic 70 runs in Rajasthan Royals’ failed chase of 194 runs, set by Mumbai Indians at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium.

Mumbai had won the toss and chosen to bat first. An unbeaten knock of 79 runs from Suryakumar Yadav and a quick 35 form Rohit Sharma and 30 from Hardik Pandya powered Mumbai to a massive target of 194 for the Royals.

Mumbai’s bowling attack was too much to handle for the Rajasthan batsmen except Jos Buttler.  Jasprit Bumrah ended the match with an impressive four-wicket haul, giving away only 20 runs in his four overs. RR were all out for 136 in the start of 19th over and MI won by 57 runs.

Brad Hogg says Jos Buttler becoming Mr Reliable for RR

Hogg feels Buttler has regained his form and is becoming the man to trust on, in the Rajasthan team. While Hogg is not happy with skipper Steve Smith’s recent form. He feels the issue is a result of being in the Bio bubble atmosphere.

“Buttler becoming Mr Reliable. Smith, the last three games he has gone away from the way he sets his innings up, playing rash shots that are uncharacteristic. It maybe an issue of been in the Bubble atmosphere,” Brad Hogg tweeted.

I don’t think we need to panic too much: Steve Smith

Steve Smith feels they don’t need to panic much and the situation will be in control with them implementing their plans. Getting a bit of momentum will turn things in their favour says, Smith.
