Coming off from a defeat against Kolkata Knight Riders, SunRisers Hyderabad will lock horns with Rajasthan Royals in match 40 of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 at Dubai International Cricket Stadium in the UAE.

At the start of the tournament, SunRisers Hyderabad struggled to find a proper middle-order which cost them defeats. Although now they have a well-settled batting order, it has been late for them to lock space in play-offs.

Well, nothing can be predicted this season after witnessing three-super overs in one day. So, SRH is likely to be still in the race. But the competition between SRH and RR will be highly competitive as the latter is also desperate to win this match.

Let’s take a look at SunRisers Hyderabad’s playing XI against RR:

1. Jonny Bairstow (wk):

Jonny Bairstow is playing a crucial role for SunRisers Hyderabad this season. He has been the leading scorer for them in the last matches. Overall, he has amassed 316 runs in nine matches at the strike rate of 128.97. It’s important for SRH that he stays longer in the field to give them a good start.

David Warner has played more cautious innings considering the inexperienced middle-order. He has anchored the innings while has allowed Bairstow to play more freely. This strategy has worked for SunRisers Hyderabad to give them a stable start.

3. Manish Pandey:

In seven matches, the leg spinner has picked up two wickets and scored 63 runs. He has not played in the last two matches, but he is likely to get back his place.
