Irfan Pathan once termed as the next Kapil Dev for India, is once again in the news for his bowling displays. Pathan has been on song in the Syed Mushtaq Ali trophy, and has already registered a five-wicket haul for his side Baroda and he seems to be in great shape following his injury. The rehabilitation process seems to have smoothly for Pathan, who at the moment might not be the fastest around but is definitely accurate.
The biggest issue with Pathan has been that just when he is peaking with his bowling efforts, an injury has ruined all his hard work and success. It is hard to believe that a genuine all rounder like Pathan is out of the Indian team just because of injuries. As a matter of fact, Pathan has a five-wicket haul in the last ODI he played for India, way back in 2012.
The pacer recently uploaded a video on Instagram, where he clean bowls a batsman without much of a fuss. It reminded viewers of the good old days when all Irfan used to do was pitch the ball up, and the ball used to do the remaining job. Below, is the video of Pathan castling the batsman in the Syed Mushtaq Ali trophy.
