In the World Cup 2015 winning campaign, he was the power-hitter for the team in the middle. He amassed 324 runs in eight matches at an average of 64.80 with the striking rate of 182.02. During the tournament, he struck the most number of sixes for his team, striking 14 sixes and 35 fours.
