The spinner Ravichandran Ashwin is the bowler which can not be avoided in Test matches. The cricketer has given always a breakthrough to the team not only through the ball but also as a valuable lower-order batsman.
On the first day of the first Test match, Ashwin picked two valuable wickets for the team. Bangladesh Test captain Mominul Haque opted to bat first to set a big total but the Indian bowlers put down all their hopes. Ashwin picked the wicket of the visiting skipper and the experienced Mahmudullah. He would have taken five wickets if Ajinkya Rahane would not have missed catches.

Ashwin has played 68 Test matches (excluding ongoing Test), 111 ODIs and 46 T20Is. He has picked 357 wickets (excluding ongoing Test) in the longest format at an economy rate of 2.83. As a lower-order batsman, he has four Test centuries in his name. His contribution in the team is in inevitable.
Ravichandran Ashwin traded to Delhi Capitals
Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) took the final decision and traded their captain to Delhi Capitals. Ashwin, with his experienced national teammate Ajinkya Rahane, will be seen in Delhi Capital’s jersey in the next edition of IPL. Ravichandran Ashwin will now be playing with the young players like Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant, Prithwi Shaw and Kagiso Rabada.
