Sean Abbott makes a strong return to Cricket, picks up a 6-fer in Shield game

Australian fast-bowler Sean Abbott made a strong return to Cricket as he took 8 wickets in New South Wales Sheffield Shield match against Queensland, which New South Wales won by an innings and 80 runs.

During Queensland’s first innings, he took two wickets and in second innings, Abbott produced a stunning spell of fast-bowling as he rapped up six Queensland batsmen, making his total tally for the match eight. His six wickets for 14 runs also marked his best bowling spell in Sheffield Shield Cricket. Great that is!

Seeing the fact what Abbott went through after witnessing the unfortunate demise of Phillip Hughes in front of his eyes, this performance against Queensland was the most important thing he needed to get his feet established again on the field. Abbott is a great talent and Australia would really need a talent like him in the upcoming years.
