Watch: Snake Interrupts Ranji Trophy Match Between Andhra And Vidarbha
Ranji Trophy 2019/20 match between Andhra and defending champions Vidarbha was interrupted because of never-imagined reason. We have generally heard that because of rain the match was halted or delayed from the scheduled time. Well, here, the snake was the reason for the delay at the Dr Gokaraju Liala Gangaaraju ACA Cricket Ground in Vijayawada.
Vidarbha skipper Faiz Fazal won the toss and opted to field first against Andhra. As soon as the two teams player entered the field, the match was interrupted with the snake’s entrance. However, no players were harmed and the ground staff were fortunate to send away the creature from the field. After some time, the match was started between the two teams.

Other Similar Cases When The Match was Delayed Due To Wierd Reason
In 2017, the match between Delhi and Uttar Pradesh in the Ranji Trophy at the Palam Air Force Ground was halted when a car entered the playing arena. It was an extraordinary incident in cricket history.
Recently, during the ICC World Cup 2019, the bee attacked the match between South Africa and Sri Lanka. The two teams player had to lay down flat on the ground because of which the match was delayed for some time. IPL had also a similar case when a dog entered the field.
Andhra vs Vidarbha
Talking about the domestic tournament, Monday (December 9) was the first day of new Ranji Trophy season (2019/20). Vidarbha, who has won the last two titles of this tournament, will look to have a good start and win the first game against Andhra.
Hanuma Vihari, who is Andhra captain, had impressed through his innings in international level. It will be expected that he can build a strong team to compete in this big level.
