The 21-year-old Delhi batsman Mohit Ahlawat registered his name in the history books after becoming the first batsman to score a triple century in a T20 match.
The wicketkeeper-batsman, who has represented Delhi in the Ranji Trophy, achieved this incredible feat in a local T20 tournament at Delhi’s Lalita Park, playing for Maavi XI against Friend’s XI. His unbeaten knock of 300 came from only 72 balls and was studded with a staggering 39 sixes and 14 fours. In fact, his batting was so devastating that he scored his last 50 runs in the last two overs as he hit 5 consecutive sixes off the last 5 balls of the innings. His monumental effort helped his team to post a mammoth 416 in the allotted 20 overs.
As expected, avid cricket fans were stunned by the incredible batting display and took to Twitter to express their astonishment. Here are some of the reactions:

Left to ponder, what if the other batsmen had given #MohitAhlawat more of the strike
He batted only 72 out of a possible 120 for his 300
