Bayern Munich are arguably the smartest spenders in entire European football and made some massive signings this summer but this has only increased competition for places in the star studded lineup.

The signings of Tolisso, James Rodriguez, Niklas Sule, Sebastian Rudy meant that they have done reasonably well to cover all the areas with a viable backup but this could also see other clubs making bids for some of their players.

Italian giants Inter Milan are looking to sign Arturo Vidal from Allianz Arena this summer, according to reports in Italy.

World Class Midfielder

Arturo Vidal is one of the midfielders in world football over the past four to five years and added a lot of quality to Bayern’s midfield since his move to Munich couple of seasons ago.

He is arguably the best box to box midfielder in the world and a huge player for Bayern Munich and Carlo Ancelotti. However, Italian media outlet TMW claims that Inter Milan are keen to sign the Chilean international as he was very successful during his time at Juventus.

The 30-year old is very happy with German giants but could move back to Italy if the right offer comes through his way. Inter Milan are currently backed by Chinese owners and they are less active than their arch rivals AC Milan who had managed to make a complete squad overhaul this summer.

Inter’s new boss Luciano Spalletti is a huge admirer of dynamic midfielders and also eyes a deal for Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan this summer. The pair has already worked together in the capital city and Spalletti is keen to push for a deal.

Perisic to fund Vidal transfer

The club are set to use the money from selling Ivan Perisic to Manchester United in a £48m deal. The Red Devils are ready to finalize the deal for the Croatian international and they will need to act quick as the midfielder has been named in Inter’s pre-season squad to Asia.

Will the deal really happen? Vidal is very happy at Munich at the moment as Ancelotti backs him up very well. But no one knows what can happen in this crazy summer market as the money is just being poured down everywhere.
