BREAKING – Barclays will no longer be the title sponsors of Premier League

The biggest league in the world will not have a title sponsors from 2016-17 season.

Premier League have decided not to renew their sponsorship deal with Barclays whose current deal expires at the end of next season.

Premier League has been in association with Barclays since 2004 and have helped each other to grow substantially all over the world.

From the beginning of 2016-17 season, top flight in English football will simply be called as “The Premier League”.

Premier League has taken this decision as part of their new marketing initiative which is set to roll ouyt from the year 2016.

Premier League has assured all the top flight clubs that they will not have any problems in pursuing their own sponsorship deals.

There will be many shake ups at all the levels of the English football with this major announcement by Premier League’s top officials.
