Mourinho to block transfer of Manchester United player
According to Manchester Evening News, newly appointed Sunderland manager David Moyes is keen to sign Manchester United misfit Marouane Fellaini.
The Scottish manager is ready to land the Belgian for the third successive time at Sunderland.
Moyes has brought Fellaini alongside him during the short term managing stint at Old Trafford back in 2013 from Everton for a massive £27.5m.
Reports suggest that he could sign the midfielder for even less than half that amount as he could be available at as less as £13m.
However, despite not getting the backing of the fans, Fellaini could very well stay at Old Trafford as Jose Mourinho is keen to have the 28-year old.
Mourinho feels that the Belgian international could be used as John Obi Mikel at Chelsea which could lead to the potential block of the transfer to Sunderland.
Fellaini has been often used as an impact substitute by former Red Devils’ manager Louis van Gaal and he could yet again feature in a similar role under Jose Mourinho.
