Predicted lineup of Manchester City against Newcastle United
Second-placed Manchester City will host Newcastle United who is yet to win a single game this season on Saturday afternoon in the eighth game week of Premier League.
Manchester City has collected 15 points from seven games this season and sit one point behind local rivals Manchester United in the table. Starting the season on the best possible note with five back to back wins in their first five games conceding zero goals in the process.
But they lost both of their last two league games and will be looking to bounce back to winning ways. They won their Champions League game in the midweek against Borussia Monchengladbach with a comeback from 1-0 down and won 2-1.
Here is the predicted lineup of Manchester City:
Joe Hart will be back in the starting XI after sitting out against Tottenham Hotspur last weekend due to an injury. Hart’s absence coster the side 3 crucial points as the Cityzens lost 4-1 against Spurs.
Bacary Sagna will continue to be the side’s right full-back in absence of Pablo Zabaletta. Club captain Vincent Kompany is still out of action with a shin injury. Martin Demichelis and Nicolas Otamendi will continue to be the central defenders. Aleksandar Kolarov will be the left full-back.
David Silva will be back in action in the Premier League. The rest of the midfield setup is likely to remain same. Raheem Sterling and Kevin De Bruyne will accompany Silva. Yaya Toure and Fernandinho will be the central midfielders.
Sergio Aguero will be the front striker upfront. A lot will depend upon the Argentine to lead the Cityzens’ attack force.
