WWE News: Reason Why Multiple Superstars Left WWE In Recent Times
A number of WWE names have chosen to walk away from WWE in recent weeks. In combined, there are four names who are no longer WWE employees, as of now. They are Tye Dillinger, TJP, Arn Anderson, and Hideo Itami. It’s shocking to see that a veteran like Anderson was also on the list who was one of the backstage officials.
WWE never released an official statement regarding this name. But they did confirm the release of the other three names. We received three separate announcements on WWE.com regarding the release of Tye Dillinger, TJP, and Hideo Itami. All of them used to be indie wrestlers who have gone back to their familiar territory.
Backstage reports are available on these names indicating the potential reasons behind their release.
Dave Meltzer recently discussed these recent releases on The Wrestling Observer and gave us some insider scoops.
Frustrations got into TJP for not getting a significant spot on the 205 Live roster. This led him to grow an attitude problem. Recently, he started sporting some tattoos on his body which was also not cool with the officials. So they decided to trim him down from the roster. We should note that TJP is the only name among the released superstars who got fired.
A more of similar position was there for Tye Dillinger who barely got TV time in the recent months. His main roster entry through Smackdown turned out to be a disaster from the get-go. Poor booking was the sole reason behind this. However, he never grew bad blood with the authority figured but rather requested his release.
WWE officials granted him the same on this past week. However, we should note that the company did not wish him luck in future endeavors. Hideo Itami wanted his release back in January which was also granted like Tye Dillinger. As for Arn Anderson, he might be a victim of a backstage conflict. This led Vince McMahon to cancel his contract, (courtesy sportskeeda.com)
“Arn Anderson’s release came after a number of run in’s with Vince McMahon. Details are limited at this time, but it appears that there was a recent issue at a house show that wasn’t handled in a way that McMahon would have liked, Anderson took full blame for the situation and his contract was then terminated.”
