The Undertaker returned on WWE Raw programming on this week’s episode. It happened in a total surprising capacity as he interrupted Elias during his musical performance. A chokeslam and Tombstone Piledriver followed thereafter to put the Drifter into sleep. It was indeed one of those magical experiences that we like to see from the Deadman.

No wonder the fans have enjoyed this segment a lot featuring The Undertaker. They were worried about the status of The Deadman after he missed Wrestlemania 35. This return means that he is not yet over with his career. Here are some comments from his Instagram account following the return,

“Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for I am the evil…Only those who will risk going to far can possibly find out how far one can go.”

This was the first time since Wrestlemania 2000 that The Undertaker missed the biggest event of the year. However, he is still set to perform at the next Saudi Arabia PPV. In fact, this is why WWE brought him back on TV after Wrestlemania. Wwfoldschool.com carried a report indicating the reason why the Phenome missed Wrestlemania but will return at Saudi Arabia.

As per the source, Saudi Arabia shows are more profitable for the WWE. They need to pull off more successful shows in the country where The Undertaker is a must see name,

“WrestleMania sells out based on its brand name itself now. On the other hand, WWE needs The Undertaker to work the Saudi Arabia PPVs as the Saudi officials are big fans of Old School Legends and Undertaker is the biggest active Legend in WWE today.”

According to Brandon Howard Thurston, WWE made $16.9 million from WrestleMania 35. On the other hand, WWE made $50 million from Greatest Royal Rumble in April 2018 and $25 million from Crown Jewel in November. No wonder, why Vince McMahon keep on visiting Saudi Arabia twice in a year.

The Undertaker is a trusted shoulder of McMahon and he also understood the smart booking needed. He has already accepted the fact of competing in selected matches that will make more money out of him. So he thought it’d better to compete in Saudi Arabia and not at Wrestlemania. As for his next match, Elias should be the opponent after what transpired on Raw.
