Schedule for the Indians at Day 2 in Rio Olympics

After a disappointing first day at Rio Olympics for the Indians where the female shooters Paul and Chandela did not qualify for the finals, while Jitu Rai could not perform in the finals. All the Indian table tennis players were knocked out in the first round itself. In tennis, men’s doubles and women’s doubles pair were knocked out.

Day 2 of Rio Olympics will see lots of Indian players in action. First in action will be Heena Sidhu in the women’s 10 m Air pistol qualification round. If Heena Sidhu qualifies for the finals then she could be seen in action for the finals at 7.30 pm.

In the men’s trap qualification for men Manavjit Singh Sandhu and Kynan Chenai will be seen in action at 6 PM today. In archery, the Indian women’s team of Deepika Kumari, Bombyala Devi, and Laxmirani Majhi will take on Colombia in the round of 16 from 6.45 PM onwards. The quarterfinals, semifinals, and finals will be held later in the day.

Deepika Karmarkar will be seen in the first qualification round. The event will include women’s uneven bars, vault, floor exercise.

The Indian women’s hockey team will take on Japan in their first group match from 7.20 onwards.
