When the number of bats in the Indian dressing room were more than the score of India

Cricket humourist, Vikram Sathaye’s show ” What The Duck” has seen cricket stars share some really funny stories. In the series, he invites famous Indian cricketers for a chat in 15 minutes of pure hilarity while travelling back in time to the player’s career.

In the latest episode, retired Indian spinner Murali Kartik, was welcomed by Vikram and the spinner shared a very funny incident involving Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh. Harbhajan Singh is widely regarded as one of the funniest characters in the Indian cricket team and the incident completely justifies the tag.

The incident took place when India was participating in a tri-series against New Zealand and Zimbabwe in 2005 in Zimbabwe. Recalling the hilarious incident, Kartik said that in a particular match in the series, India were bundled out for a paltry score of just above hundred. As a result they lost the match poorly. After the defeat the mood was very gloomy in the dressing room. Seeing that the most funniest guy in the room, Harbhajan Singh stood up and asked everyone to take out their bats to count them. The number of bats were 110. Seeing that Harbhajan said that the number of bats are more than the score posted by the players, which compelled everyone to burst into laughter.
