Finn Balor Says He Loves The Idea Of ‘The Forbidden Door’

Former WWE Universal champion Finn Balor who is also a former two times WWE NXT champion recently said that he loved the concept of the forbidden door. He also said that he loved to challenge himself against performers from different regions.

Finn Balor joined WWE in 2014 after having an excellent time outside of the promotion. He began his WWE career under the NXT. He became quite successful in the NXT and also won the WWE NXT Championship one time. In 2016 he went to the main roster of WWE as a part of the second brand extension of the promotion.

Finn Balor Says He Loves The Idea Of ‘The Forbidden Door’

Coming to the main roster, he became the inaugural WWE Universal champion. But he was forced to vacate the title after he picked up a serious injury. After coming back from the injury, he could never get his lost push back. Even though he was used as a solid mid card. In 2019 who decided to go back to NXT once again. And in the NXT has been pushed as a main event star.

After spending two years in the NXT he came back to the main roster of WWE. He made his return to Friday Night Smackdown recently and on his first return match he defeated the former two times WWE Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn. He then went on to challenge Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal championship and he is currently having a few for the title against the Head of the Table.

Finn Balor who is also a former two times WWE NXT champion recently spoke to Cultoholic where he said that he loved the concept of the forbidden door. He said;

“I love the idea of the ‘Forbidden Door.’ I feel like if I have an opportunity to wrestle in Japan or Mexico or Europe, for whatever promotion, I would love to be able to do.

“Obviously, contractually in WWE, they take care of all my dates and my bookings and my travel. They organize everything.

“If we could set up a working relationship between some of these other brands from around the world, I would love to challenge myself against performers from different regions.”
