WWE came up with a big surprise during a recent edition of Talking Smack where they traded Mandy Rose to Raw from SmackDown. While this matter was a big part of discussions from pro-wrestling contents, no such follow up was noticed. They didn’t do anything with her in the latest episode which was indeed strange.
It’s now been noted that there’s a big reason for that. Ringside News has informed that WWE wanted to hype up the trade of Mandy Rose to Raw. This wasn’t definitely a part of the angle with her on-screen love, Otis. They previously didn’t want to break up the most popular pair of WWE television.
Mandy Rose: WWE Doesn’t Have Plans For The Golden Goddess On Raw
However, right now the plan is to keep these two on two separate brands. But the most important thing noted by the source was that there is no plan for Mandy Rose. They simply shifted her to Raw just because they had to. They needed to deepen the roster for the red brand especially in the women’s division, but there is no place for the Golden Goddess to fit into the brand.
There is also no information available on who might be traded to SmackDown in exchange for Rose. Previously AJ Styles was moved to SmackDown while Raw got Dolph Ziggler in return. Interestingly though, WWE didn’t mention the “future consideration” line for this trade.
A member of the creative team having close knowledge of the situation explained that “Raw is a mess and this is just another example of the lack of leadership.” This situation is being observed ever since the departure of Paul Heyman from the Executive Director post. Mandy Rose isn’t the only one who could suffer as Keith Lee is also the one about whom there isn’t any plan.
WWE didn’t use Mandy Rose on Raw despite the trade. They aired a short vignette instead to hype her return on the red brand. This happened despite the blonde-head sending a tease on her own social media to plug that Raw return.
From a storyline perspective, The Miz wanted to separate Mandy Rose from Otis so that the latter could focus on winning the world title. But on Twitter, the gorgeous lady claimed that no one could separate these two while more success is also waiting for the duo in the future.

“You dirty bastard. 3 weeks. It took 3 weeks to find out why I wasn’t on Smackdown and of course, it’s because of you Mike. I had a career moment at SummerSlam to not be on Smackdown and you just drop it on Talking Smack LIKE ITS NOTHING!! You affect my career and my time so you could try and stop Otis from succeeding?
This is how you use your pull? Wowwww
If I’m going to RAW, that’s great. I’ll do bigger and better things on Mondays then I’ve done on Fridays. Oh, and if you think you’re going to split Otis and I up, think again Miz.
There are 7 days in a week and me and MR. Money in the Bank are as tight as ever.”
