Former WWE star and a former three times WWE Women’s Champion Melina who is also a former two times WWE Divas Champion recently talked about how wrestling has changed and she was not ready to adapt the recent change.
Melina aka Melina Perez is one of the most successful names in the history of women’s professional wrestling. Not only she was very famous in WWE but her Independent Circuit works are also excellent.

Melina Does Not Think She Is Ready To Adapt The Recent Change In Wrestling
Melina started his professional wrestling career back in 2001. After working in different promotions she was finally given her big break in 2004 when she was approached by WWE. She formed a heel stable with Johnny Nitro and Joey Mercury upon her debut. Together they were known as MNM.
She had an excellent 7 year long career in WWE. In this 7 year WWE career she achieved a lot of success including two WWE Women’s Championships and three WWE Divas Championships.

After she was released by WWE in 2011, she made her way to the Independent Circuit. Like WWE and a lot of success in the independent circuit as well. Currently she is working in the National Wrestling Alliance and going really strong.
Melina who is also a former two times WWE Divas Champion recently spoke to the Asylum Wrestling Store where she talked about how wrestling has changed and she was not ready to adapt the recent change. She said;

“It’s in me but it’s not (Melina responded to the idea of not having the in-ring ‘bug’ anymore). I think wrestling has changed now and it’s not that I don’t — I can’t adapt. I guess it’s I don’t want to adapt. I love storylines and characters and details and all this stuff and I was blessed that WWE allowed me to invoke these moments for me.
“That’s a time, I don’t think, unless you’re in a — I don’t know. You’re connected to somebody and — the politics. I guess I’m not great with the politics where I don’t have an ‘in’ to have somebody write these things and help me create together but every time I do something and the story or character just is so weak, it depresses me. It makes me think, this is not the wrestling I know and love and it makes me hate working, because I want magic, I wanna do this, I wanna do that, all of it and it just makes me sad.”
