Former WWE star and a former WWE NXT North American Champion Isiah “Swerve” Scott who is currently going by the name of Swerve Strickland in the All Elite Wrestling recently talked about his talked about his tag team partner Keith Lee and said that he had a point to prove.

Swerve Strickland started is professional wrestling career back in 2008 at a very young age of 18. He went through a long 4 year training before joining the senior’s ring. His first on screen appearance was in 2011 when he appeared on the National Wrestling Alliance ring.

Swerve Strickland Praises Keith Lee And Says He Has A Point To Prove

In 2012 he started working on the Combat Zone Wrestling promotion. On the same here he joined the independent circuit as well. He kept on working on these promotions for over 7 years and he had been really successful. He won so many championships from all over the independent circuit.

In 2019 he got his big call for the first time from WWE and he joined the promotion to start work in the NXT which was the Development Territory of the promotion. He formed a stable called The Hit Row in the NXT and he was doing quite well. He even won the WWE NXT North American Championship.

In 2021 draft lottery of WWE, he had been drafted to Friday Night Smackdown along with all of his teammates. But he could not spend enough time in WWE as he had been released from the promotion along with all of his teammates. Soon he joined the All Elite Wrestling and he is doing quite well in his new promotion. Recently he won the AEW World Tag Team Championship along with Keith Lee.

Isiah “Swerve” Scott who is currently going by the name of Swerve Strickland in the All Elite Wrestling recently spoke to Renee Paquette on The Sessions where he talked about his talked about his tag team partner Keith Lee and said that he had a point to prove. He said;

“Me and Keith, we literally tagged on the indies before he got signed to WWE, and that was like 2017. He is someone who also has just as big of a chip on his shoulder as me because he was promised the world, and unfortunately for him,”

Strickland continued, “He got sick too, and it wasn’t easy just have some Robitussin and get up and go, no, he was like facing death. He was out of commission for a while, you know? So, I feel like he has a chip on his shoulder for his career and for personal reasons with his life, as well.”
