Arindam Paul / 12 July 2016

The crowd was on cloud nine to see their beloved Dean Ambrose winning the Money in the Bank contract. If that’s not all, he cashed it in right at the end of the night to become the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion to send the entire crowd crazy. Though it turned to be the moment of the year for many of the fans, Dean was not booked as strong champion ever since. He’s been with the entertainment mode that he is, but somehow is not projected as the dominating champion, so far.
Previous reports suggested that the decision of Dean Ambrose’s cash-in on Seth Rollins was made at the very last moment. Reports also suggested that Dean Ambrose will not be the champion for a longer span of time. Next time he is scheduled to defend his title in the triple threat match against Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins at the main event of WWE Battleground on July 24th. It is heard that Dean Ambrose is likely to drop the title to any of his former Shield-Brethren.

Though, the latest from Wrestling Observer tells us that the suspension of Roman Reigns has a strong effect on the storyline by virtue which Dean Ambrose will survive the triple threat match at Battleground. It is the same reason that made Dean casing it in a record time of less than one hour.
As per the rumor mills, WWE officials are not quite happy with the in-ring efforts of Dean Ambrose ever since becoming the champion. If going by the rumors then the Creative is not pleased with the fact that Ambrose is taking everything in that ring too lightly. For a couple of months of now, he might have gone out of the script to receive a lot of backstage heat from the officials. These were speculated reasons for dropping his title at the upcoming Battleground pay-per-view as a result of the whole.
