One of all time greats, Kevin Nash aka Diesel intended to return to WWE with a specific motive. Nash, a former WWE champion and a WWE Hall of Famer, appeared on Vince Russo’s Podcast One Show. He was asked if he’s ever going to return to the WWE.

He hinted that he may think to return only if WWE wishes to form a new NWO stable in future. It is worth to mention that NWO is considered as the greatest faction in the history of the company who were on top at the time of Monday Night Wars. They played a legitimate role when the WWE took over WCW. The group was last seen at Wrestlemania 31 in the match between Sting and Triple H.

Kevin Nash also added that he would love to return as “Dolph Ziggler’s Diesel”. He thought Ziggler’s run should continue as a heel but not as a face. Nash debuted in WWF in the year 1993 when he portrayed the role of Shawn Michaels’ bodyguard, Diesel. He intended to do the same to give a boost to Dolph Ziggler’s career.

Here’s what he had to offer: (quotes courtesy SportsKeeda)

“people always say would you ever come back to wrestling and I say to myself I’d come back and be [Dolph] Ziggler’s Diesel because that’s all he needs. Number one, he’s not a face. Ziggler is a heel and I wouldn’t have to say a word because he can talk. I’ve already had mine. But for the bigger guys, he needs somebody to stomp them. He does the same thing Shawn [Michaels] did. He takes every bump in the world. He takes every beating from the guys and then usually they beat him. But to me, his in-ring performance is as good as anybody’s in the business right now. He works so hard. I’d like to teach him the little things that Shawn learned. Yeah, he can fly back on every bump but every third one is kind of nice to take a punch and bounce off the ropes. I mean, the ropes are there for a reason.”
