WWE Rumour: Favorite Superstars To Win The Money In The Bank Briefcase
The participants of the Money in the Bank ladder match were disclosed during the latest episode of Smackdown Live.
As announced by the commissioner of the show, Shane McMahon, there will six prime superstars from the show who would compete in the match.
Shinsuke Nakamura, AJ Styles, Sami Zayn, Dolph Ziggler, Baron Corbin and Kevin Owens are the men announced for the match. Owens was put out of the initial list put up by McMahon. However, he came up to confront the show-runner bragging about his title match win at Backlash to get into it.
According to the rumour mill, there are a couple of names who are favourites to win this year’s Money in the Bank match. As reported by 434.com, Nakamura and Baron Corbin are the two names. Corbin is the one who is set to go to the main event slot for quite a while now. The same can be said about Nakamura, as well.
The former NXT champion was moved to the main roster after Wrestlemania 33. He is all set to be pitted as the main event guy on the blue brand, soon. The Artist has earned fame worldwide with his strong moves. In today’s pro-wrestling industry it’s hard to find a phenomenon that Nakamura possesses.
Giving him with the Money in the Bank briefcase will certainly open up some major championship feuds in the future. His feuds with Randy Orton or Jinder Mahal for the WWE title will be something much worthy to witness.
On the other hand, Corbin is outrageous over his recent losses against Sami Zayn. He delivered a vicious onslaught attack on Zayn on this past episode of Smackdown. The rage might accompany him in the upcoming weeks, as well that might earn him the briefcase. As we have learned from the past, a heel stands more chance in earning the title opportunity rather than a babyface.
Rusev was the previous one to enter the exciting ladder match as the favourite. But, for some unknown reason, he is still absent from appearing on Smackdown. There are fewer chances that he will show up and get included in the match in the upcoming weeks.
