After the Future Tour Programme of the Indian Cricket was released , there has been a provision of 6 India vs Pakistan bilateral series in the coming circle of 8 years, 2015-23. But while BCCI has agreed to play it , it has made it to the notice of PCB that for the series to be played on the neutral venues, Indian Government must approve it.

BCCI secretary , Sanjay Patel made it clear that the first neutral series between the 2 nations in 2015, will depend on the clearance by the Indian government.

PCB has made a smart move by bring in their Prime  Minister, Nawaz Sharif into all this and has asked him for the support over this issue so that 6 bilateral series turns a reality. No wonder about the extent PCB needs this tours as this will be a major source for the earning.

PCB’s Chairman Najam Sethi called Nawaz Sharif in Islamabad on Wednesday to tell about the agreement signed by the BCCI and PCB after ICC’s annual meeting in Melbourne , on the prospect on playing 6 bilateral series between India and Pakistan between 2015-23. He made is clear to the Prime Minister that they will have to support the PCB , in order to convince the Indian government for their clearance for the series.

Earlier PCB reported to the press that even a single series against India , in the coming year, will gurantee them a revenue of more than 50 million dollars.

Nawaz Sharif, who is the patron in chief of PCB, lauded the efforts of Najam Sethi , to bring International cricket back to Pakistan and has extended his full support to the PCB for this.

Pakistan has not seen any International game in the country after the attacks on the touring Sri Lankan team in 2009 .
