Kolkata Knight Riders’ season came to an end after suffering a 22 runs loss to Sunrisers Hyderabad in the eliminator. The two-time champions were looking in control to chase down the 162 runs target posted by SRH, but then an unfortunate run-out triggered a mini collapse. KKR never recovered from that collapse and eventually fell short by 22 runs.
Soon after the defeat, everyone witnessed a heartwarming incident. The KKR cheerleaders were seen crying and consoling each other after their team knocked out of the tournament.
KKR owner Shahrukh Khan tweeted about the incident by posting a picture of the KKR cheerleaders, who were seen crying.
The Bollywood star captioned the crying cheerleaders picture as “Always wish my KKR boys the best and never said anything to the girls who bring so much cheer. Lov u girls & thanx”.
