Pakistani pacer Wahab Riaz and Australian all rounder Shane Watson , both have been fined after breaching the ICC’s code of conduct during their Quarter Final encounter in the ICC World Cup 2015. Watson has been fined 15 , whereas Wahab Riaz has been fined 50 percent of his match fees.

ICC match referee Ranjan Madugalle said that both of them were foung guilty of crossing the line of unacceptable behaviour. Watson was found guilty of conduct not as per the spirit of the game whereas Wahab Riaz was found showing gesture which is offensive or insulting to the opponent.

Wahab Riaz was in the middle of an awesome spell of fast bowling, testing the Australian batsman with some perfectly targetted short balls . Had he got support of the fielders, Pakistan could have turned the game into their side.

What is also interesting is that Mitchell Starc has escaped any sort of fine , having done the same what Wahab did to Watson. Also, some photos captured shows that Wahab was in a verbal spat with Aaron Finch before ths start of the match.
