Once again the Atletico De Kolkata camp seems to be plagued by controversy. The controversy is within the camp and the team’s Spanish coach Antonio Lopez Habas has reportedly been the villain for his dictatorial attitude.

This time the coach has reportedly shown this attitude on his marquee footballer Elder Postiga, the Portuguese striker and once the team mate of Cristiano Ronaldo.

On Monday, an embarrassing situation at the Salt lake Central Park was seen from the beginning at the training where Habas was seen in a rough mood with Postiga who has joined the training after a month’s lay -off due to his ankle injury in the team’s opening match in the ISL.

Postiga was asked to train under the team’s fitness trainer instead of doing practicing with his mates.

And it was later learnt that Habas has planned not to field Postiga in Wednesday’s home match. And the striker also seems to be peeved at coach’s attitude. Even a heated exchange of words was noticed after the training ended at the ground.

But none of the ATK officials agreed with the incident. Only a few of the senior players revealed on condition of anonymity that Poschiga was not at all happy with the behavior shown by Habas during the practice.

Interestingly, in the last season, similar situation was created by the controversy between Habas and the team’s Ethiopian striker Fikru Tefeira.

However, the coach is also dissatisfied with the ground at the Salt Lake Stadium where most of his footballers have received injury and been ruled out including Postiga.
