Moritz Leitner

Dortmund (Germany), Aug 13 (IANS) German football club Borussia Dortmund’s midfielder Moritz Leitner, 23, has signed for Italian side Lazio for an undisclosed fee.

The announcement was made on Friday. The German midfielder played 42 Bundesliga and seven Champions League games for Dortmund between July 2011 and June 2013, reports Xinhua.

He had been loaned to VfB Stuttgart for two years and returned to Dortmund last season.

Leitner only made eight Bundesliga appearances last season.
