Liverpool defensive due Kolo Toure and Andre Wisdom have signed contract extensions. Kolo Toure has signed a 12-month contract extension after his current deal was set to expire in the summer, while Andre Wisdom is set to stay ay the Anfield club till 2019.

Kolo Toure was signed from Manchester City on a free transfer in July 2013, and has made 21 appearances in all competitions during 2014-15. 

 

“Liverpool is a great club for me to stay at,” Toure said Sunday, according to the Liverpool Echo. “Liverpool is going to be massive. I love Premier League football and I played all my years here. And if I can finish here it would be great. “My kids go to school here and they are half-English, and that is important as well.”

Andre Wisdom spent this season on loan at West Bromwich Albion making 24 league appearances. The England U21 international will be hoping to break into the first team next season with Glen Johnson leaving the club in the summer and Jon Flanagan injured till December.

Last week Jon Flanagan and Jordan Ibe also signed new deals at the club, while contract negotiations with Raheem Sterling still ongoing.
