Carlo Ancelotti will not be happy with a draw that his side managed to take from their game against Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga at the weekend. But he cannot dwell too much on that game as he and his side will have to shift their focus to their trip to the Bernabeu this Tuesday. Real Madrid managed to score two away goals at the Allianz Arena in the first leg and took home a 2-1 advantage, thanks to a red card for Javi Martinez in the second half in that game.

But Ancelotti will believe that his side has what it takes to go all the way this campaign and will hope that they produce a brilliant performance to push Real Madrid out of their comfort zone and take home a victory. Here is the predicted lineup he might field for this tie:

Team News:

Jerome Boateng picked up a small injury recently and will be assessed before the game while Robert Lewandowski, who missed the previous, is expected to be back in action. Javi Martinez is, however, suspended for this tie. Mats Hummels could be used in his place.

Expected lineup (4-2-3-1):

German superstar Manuel Neuer was the best player for Bayern in the first leg and he will hope to have a similar game this time around. Philip Lahm and David Alba did a decent job as full-backs at the Allianz and there is little reason for Ancelotti to look elsewhere. Martinez is suspended, so though Boateng may be nursing an injury, he should start this game alongside Mats Hummels who was not a part of the first leg.

The hero of the previous game, Arturo Vidal, should keep his place in the midfield of the side as he will hope to put in a similar performance and help his side to a victory. Spanish star Xabi Alonso will return to the Bernabeu for the first time since his exit and it will be interesting to see the kind of a reception he will get from the home crowd in Madrid.

Robert Lewandowski was missed in the previous game as the striker was nursing an injury. He is expected to be back in action and should lead the attack for his side. Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben were a handful for the Madrid defenders last time around and they will play on either flank, hoping to have an effect on the game on the night. Thiago Alcantara looked calm and composed and he should play a similar role, to give his side a chance at victory.

This is how they would line up:
