Manuel Pellegrini’s men have been in great form in October and will be raring to start this month with a victory in Spain against Sevilla. They were lucky to get all three points in the last game against Norwich at home and will be hoping that they can get back to scoring freely and give Sevilla a run for their money.
Sevilla on the other hand had a disappointing result against Villareal in the domestic league and will be hoping to bounce back in the Champions League. Here is the preview of this game along with the Team news and Expected lineups for both teams. We have also added the Predictions and Betting odds.
The Sevilla vs Manchester City game will be played on Tuesday the 3rd of November at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium in Sevilla. The kick-off is scheduled at 8:45 pm BST (1:15 am on Wednesday IST).
Sevilla will be hopeful that Ever Banega can shred off his injury to start against City this Tuesday. Kevin Gameiro will definitely miss the game after he picked up an injury in the weekend game. Fernando Llorente is back to full match fitness and may start in this game against City.
Manchester City are still without the likes of Sergio Aguero and Fabian Delph for this game. Samir Nasri, Pablo Zabaleta and Gael Clichy are also unavailable for this game against Sevilla. David Silva has recovered from his injury but this game is too soon for the Spaniard who will not be able to take part in on Tuesday.
City are at the top of the Premier League table and will want to extend their confidence into the Champions League. They are in the 2nd place in the group just a point behind Juventus and will be hoping to take all three points from this travel to Spain. Pellegrini has a number of injury concerns but the depth in the squad should help them over-come any hiccups towards their ultimate goal.
Unai Emery got a lot of credit for what he did with the Spanish outfit last season and has not been bad this season as well. He gave a good account of his team in the first leg between the two sides at the Etihad. They should have held onto a point but a late strike from Kevin de Bruyne gave the hosts all three points on that day.
He will hope to do the same against the English opponents on Tuesday and will hope that they can take all three points from the game. If they do so, they will over-take City into the second spot in the Champions League Group table. Pellegrini will hope that his team can get a result out of this game.

The Champions League fixture between these two sides will never be easy to predict. Both teams have great match changing players who can give their team an advantage out of the blue. Expect the game to be played at a high intensity and hopefully produce some goals.
